1. William Woods occupied 13+ acres of Drumnagreshial in 1833, tithes payable 10s ½d (ref. 6)

William Woods occupied 27+ acres of Drumnagreshial in 1864. The immediate lessor was James Johnston (ref.8)
 

2. Henry Woods s/o William Woods of Drumnagreshial married Catherine Chittick d/o Thomas Chittick of Rotten Mountain in the Drumkeeran Parish Church at Tubrid on July 29, 1860. The ceremony was performed by License, by Jarritt Nugent. Witnesses were Thomas Marr and William Love (ref.13)

Henry Woods occupied 24+ acres of Drumnagreshial in 1864. The immediate lessor was James Johnston (ref.8)

Henry and Catherine Woods of Drumnagreshial emigrated to Canada with their four younger children, Mary Anne, Gustavus, Gerrard and Edward aboard the Alan Line
vessel Sardinian which left Londonderry on May 9, 1884 bound for Quebec. (ref. 17) Ontario Land Registry, Emily Township, Victoria County. Instrument 8302,B/S, 14 Sep 1854, west half of lot 12 in the 7th concession, 100 acres, grantor Edward McDowell, grantee Gustavus Woods, consideration L122.10

The Henry Woods family settled in Emily Township, Victoria County, Province of Ontario with Henry's brother, Guatavus, who first purchased 100 acres on Pigeon Lake in 1854. (ref 18)
 

    3. William Henry Woods was born October 12, 1862 s/o Henry and Catherine Chittick Woods of Drumnagreshial (ref.7)

In preparation for emigration, William Henry Woods of Drumnagreshial received the following 'certificate':

"Having been requested to give certificate to Mr. William Henry Woods, who is a native
of this parish and a member of the Church of Ireland, it affords me pleasure to state that
he is one for whom I have high esteem and regard.

From childhood he has been diligent in his attendance at Sunday School and Divine Service, and his moral character, so far as I am acquainted, has been irreproachable.

He is of respectable parentage and industrious habits."

William Henry 19 and Thomas 18, sons of Henry and Catherine Chittick Woods of Drumnagreshial emigrated to Canada aboard the Dominion Line SS Toronto which left Belfast on July 6, 1882 and arrived in Quebec July 16,1882. (ref.16)
