Arbuckle Family

Lynne Irvine from Australia writes:

I thought that the following information may relate to some of the
group as it does to my tree and hence am sending it through in the spirit of the millenium present idea.

Ann R Arbuckle born in 1807 County Fermanagh and died 31 Jul 1867 Bengalla, Muswellbrook, NSW at Private Burial Ground. Bengalla, Hunter Valley. Mrs Anne Irvine died while at Bengalla and is buried in the Bengalla Private Cemetery in the burial grounds of the Sir Hudson Keys family (the only one buried there not related by blood or marriage to the Keys family).

Her father was Joseph Arbuckle and her mothe Anne Robinson. She was married to William Irvine who was born at Letter, Finnango, Ireland about 1801 and died 29 Oct 1894 at Cargo, near Orange NSW. He is buried at Toogong Cemetery. His father was John Irvine (abt 1770 - 1858) and his mother Jane Clendenning (abt 1778-1860). Mrs Anne Irvine Anne and William were married abt 1837 at Letter, County Fermanagh.

Their children were John, Anne (the only one who married - and she married a Barton as Jan Hart knows. This is where my husbands and her tree connect) Joseph, William Owen, James and Alexander. These children were known as the New Chum Irvines as they arrived in the district of Toogong at a later stage to the earlier Irvines.

I have quite a few photos of these Irvines and could send some of them if anyone would like.
